In our lab tests this model was able to clean well on carpeted and hard floors It picked up 91.3 percent of debris in serpentine pathways. It's not quite as good in cleaning corners and edges as the more expensive models. The D4's side sensors keep it approximately 1.5 inches away from walls. The Roomba 995 is iRobot’s least expensive vacuum, and comes with recharge and resume. However it isn't equipped with the auto-empty feature that the I6+ or I7 offer. It's not equipped with the iAdapt navigation 2.0 and the camera utilized by the I7 to locate objects and avoid obstructions. It's not able to access features like in-app containment, or save maps.
